Injectable Dermal Filler Treatments in Las Vegas NV

With all the dermal fillers on the market, it can be quite confusing to determine which should be used when. Your MD or RN can help you decide which product would work best to help you achieve your goals. In the United States, the list of available fillers is long. Below you will find an overview of those available in the U.S.

The collection of products made by Juvederm and Restylane are forms of hyaluronic acid. When injected, the hyaluronic acid acts like a sponge. It absorbs water and as a result plumps up the area in which it was injected.

The volumetric effects of hyaluronic acid can be reversed with hyaluronidase.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® is the #1 selling collection of hyaluronic acid fillers in the US. Each product in the JUVÉDERM® collection of fillers adds volume to a different area of the face – without surgery. JUVÉDERM® temporarily adds volume to facial tissue and restores a smoother appearance to the face. Also, temporarily adds fullness for lip enhancement. All JUVÉDERM® fillers are a smooth, crystal-clear gel that are administered by injection in your aesthetic healthcare provider’s office. The lidocaine in the gel improves the comfort of the injection.

What is hyaluronic acid (HA)?
The JUVÉDERM® collection of fillers is made fom hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance in the skin that delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume. Each product in the JUVÉDERM® collection of fillers is made from a modified form of HA.

Where is JUVÉDERM® used?
Different formulations are approved to either lift cheeks, smooth parentheses lines, smooth vertical lip lines or plump the lips. The results are natural-looking and long lasting.

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur including the “parentheses lines” around the nose and mouth. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC is designed to temporarily correct facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance to the face for adults over the age of 21. The clinical study demonstrated JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC lasts up to 18 months, with optimal treatment.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC. As you age, the cheeks may flatten and the skin may begin to sag. This is caused by natural loss of volume in the cheek area, or what the experts call age-related midface volume loss. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface, which provides lift and contour to the cheek area. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC provides natural-looking and long-lasting results that last up to 2 years with optimal treatment.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines, often called “lipstick lines” in adults over the age of 21. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC lasts up to 1 year, with optimal treatment.

JUVÉDERM® XC First approved by the FDA in 2006, JUVÉDERM® XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the parentheses lines or ‘smile lines’ around the nose and mouth. JUVÉDERM® XC is injected into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur to temporarily add volume to the skin, which may give the appearance of a smoother surface. JUVÉDERM® XC lasts up to one year with optimal treatment.

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC is an injectable gel that temporarily adds more fullness and plumps thin lips—whether your lips have thinned over time or you simply want fuller lips-in adults over the age of 21. JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC is also approved for smoothing and correcting moderate to severe parentheses lines, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines around the nose and mouth), in adults. JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC lasts up to one year, with optimal correction.

What is the treatment experience like?
Your aesthetic healthcare provider will take your medical history and provide a facial analysis. Be prepared to discuss your aesthetic areas of concern. This is not a surgical treatment. Actual treatment with JUVÉDERM® injectable gels can take 15 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on which area of your face is being treated.

Does it hurt?
JUVÉDERM® injectable gels labeled with “XC” contain pain-reducing lidocaine to help manage pain or discomfort during the injection. You may also ask your aesthetic healthcare provider about a topical numbing cream or ice to help further minimize discomfort.

When will I see results and how long will it last?
You will see results immediately/instantly. Results may last 6 months to two years, with optimal correction and depending on the formula used. Please see each product above to see how long results last with each formula, based on what was observed in clinical studies.

Are there any reason I shouldn’t receive JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers?
Do not receive JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers if you have a history of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or if you are allergic to lidocaine or the proteins (Gram-positive bacterial proteins) used to make hyaluronic acid (HA) in JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers.

What are the potential side effects?
For lip augmentation, most side effects were mild or moderate in nature with duration of 14 days or less. The most common side effects were temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, and bruising.

For treating lines and wrinkles, most side effects were mild or moderate in nature with duration of 7 days or less. The most common side effects included temporary injection-site reactions such as redness, pain/tenderness, firmness, selling, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration.

What is the average cost?
The cost not only includes the price of the product, but more importantly, the skill and expertise of the specialist or healthcare professional who is administering your treatment. Look for someone who is licensed and trained and has experience treating patients with the JUVÉDERM® Collection. Be wary of discount products or “cheap” JUVÉDERM® Collection treatments —if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

It is more important to find an experienced specialist who will take the time to understand your treatment goals and develop a treatment plan that is right for you. Please call 702-369-1001 to find out our current prices.

Restylane

With over 30 million treatments worldwide and counting, the Restylane line of hyaluronic acid fillers provides natural-looking results by smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds providing subtle lip enhancement and smoothing the lines around them and adding lift and volume to the cheeks.

Restylane®
Restylane can be used to add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane may also be used for lip enhancement in patients over 21.

Restylane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid, helping to visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

Restylane® Silk
Finally, a filler that can help you achieve your ideal lips.

Restylane® Silk is the first FDA-approved product specifically designed for lip augmentation and the smoothing
of wrinkles around the mouth in patients 21 years of age and older.

The lips and the lines around the mouth, like other areas of the face, show signs of aging as you get older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip. Restylane Silk is designed specifically to provide natural-looking results in these particular areas by using smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than those used in other Restylane procucts.

Restylane Lyft
Restylane Lyft is approved by the FDA for cheek augmentation and the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies in patients over the age of 21. This is in addition to treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines).

Over time, the natural fat that surrounds the cheeks begins to deteriorate, resulting in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles and a reduction of volume. Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L, is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face. Through non-surgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks and midface area, which can result in a more natural-looking, youthful appearance.

Restylane Lyft is the first and only FDA-approved filler indicated to provide lift to cheeks and add volume to correct and smooth smile lines (nasolabial folds).

Restylane Defyne
Crafted with XpresHAn TechnologyTM, Restylane Defyne helps smooth out deep laugh lines (nasolabial folds and marionette lines). Using innovative cross-linking technology. Restylane Defyne is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is able to help restore a more youthful, natural-looking appearance, while helping you maintain your natural expressions.

As we age, our skin loses elasticity and the lines that run from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corner of your mouth toward the chin (Marionette lines) become more pronounced. Restylane Defyne is crafted with XpresHAn TechnologyTM to correct deepened lines. The uniques cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Defyne is also designed to help support your facial expressions-for natural-looking results that help maintain your natural movement.

Restylane Refyne
A nest-generation hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to help support your skin while keeping you looking like you.
Restylane Refyne is designed with XpresHAn TechnologyTM to help soften laugh lines (nasolabial folds and marionette lines). This can help you restore a more natural look to your face while maintaining facial expressions.

Restylane Refyne is also designed to help support your natural expression-for real-life results that help maintain natural movement when your smiling, frowning and even puckering up.

  • The use of these products on gel injection sites with skin sores, pimples, rashes, hives, cysts, or infections should be postponed until healing is complete. Use of product in these areas could delay healing or make your skin problems worse.

What are the possible side effects?
The most commonly observed side effects are swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache, tenderness, lump formation, and itching at the injection site. These are typically mild in severity and typically resolve in less than 7 days in nasolabial folds and less than 14 days in lips. Serious but rare side effects include delayed onset infections, recurrence of herpetic eruptions, and superficial necrosis at the injection site.

RADIESSE

How it Works
RADIESSE is a wrinkle filler used to plump the skin. RADIESSE is injected through a small needle and placed under the skin. Immediately, this filler works to add volume under the skin and over time, the benefits of RADIESSE continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen. The natural results have been shown to last a year or more in many patients, making the treatment results both immediate and long lasting.

RADIESSE is comprised of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier. Once injected, it provides immediate volume and correction but continues to work by stimulating the body to produce its own natural collagen. Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen.

Why choose RADIESSE?

  • RADIESSE immediately replenishes lost volume and stimulates the production of your own natural collagen with results that can last a year or more in many patients.1-3
  • Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen.
  • RADIESSE is clinically proven to last a year or more in many patients
  • RADIESSE provides results with high patient satisfaction
  • RADIESSE is FDA approved to mix with lidocaine, an anesthetic, to significantly reduce injection-related pain

RADIESSE is a viable option to help provide a long-lasting natural look while immediately smoothing wrinkles.

Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra® Aesthetic works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra Aesthetic helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost to aging.1-3 Sculptra Aesthetic is intended for use in people with healthy immune systems as a one-time treatment regimen of up to four injection sessions that are scheduled about three weeks apart.

Why should you choose Sculptra Aesthetic?
Not all treatments or injectables are created the same. Some target different areas of the face, and, more importantly, produce different effects.

Traditional collagen creams purport to deliver collagen that is absorbed by the skin. However, collagen molecules are too large to penetrate the dermis. So, in actuality, most of these treatments include vitamins and hold moisture, making them suitable moisturizers that can briefly improve skin’s appearance.

Collagen dietary supplements are meant to facilitate the production of collagen within the body. However, collagen is a protein that, when ingested, is broken down by the digestive system. Results for these types of treatments are inconclusive.

Toxins work by temporarily weakening muscles, typically in the forehead, to minimize frown lines. Results appear within a couple days and can last up to a couple months.

Fillers are liquid or gel substances, like hyaluronic acid or bovine or porcine collagen, that diminish lines by pushing up the dermis space beneath wrinkles and creases. Results appear immediately and can last up to several months.
Collagen stimulators are used to diminish facial wrinkles by helping to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years.*

As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra Aesthetic is different. It works with your body within the deep dermis, rather than topically, to help revitalize collagen production and help restore your skin’s inner structure and volume.1-3 As the Sculptra Aesthetic PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume4 and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds.

How does Sculptra Aesthetic work? Sculptra is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist.

Sculptra Aesthetic is made with biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments administered by a trained specialist.

The specialist injects treatment within the deep dermis, where strands of collagen support your skin’s structure. Over time, it helps the body reproduce lost collagen. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost.

There is no reversal agent for Sculptra.

Important Safety Information
Indication: Sculptra® Aesthetic (injectable poly-L-lactic acid) is indicated for use in people with healthy immune systems as a single regimen for the correction of shallow to deep nasolabial fold contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles in which deep dermal grid pattern (cross-hatch) injection technique is appropriate.

Sculptra Aesthetic should not be used by people that are allergic to any ingredient of the product or have a history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring. Safety has not been established in patients who are pregnant, lactating, breastfeeding, or under 18 years of age.

Sculptra Aesthetic has unique injection requirements and should only be used by a trained physician. Contour deficiencies should not be overcorrected because they are expected to gradually improve after treatment.

Sculptra Aesthetic should not be injected into the blood vessels as it may cause vascular occlusion, infarction or embolic phenomena. Use at the site of skin sores, cysts, pimples, rashes, hives or infection should be postponed until healing is complete. Sculptra Aestheticshould not be injected into the red area (vermillion) of the lip or in the peri-orbital area.

The most common side effects after initial treatment include injection site swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching and lumps. Other side effects may include small lumps under the skin that are sometimes noticeable when pressing on the treated area. Larger lumps, some with delayed onset with or without inflammation or skin discoloration, have also been reported.

Sculptra Aesthetic is available only through a licensed practitioner.
